About John Burrows

John Burrows grew up in the moving industry, starting by sweeping warehouses and conducting surveys for the family business while still in high school. In 1992, Richard DeWitt invited John to help expand the family business and manage DeWitt Guam. Over the past 30 years, John has held numerous roles within the moving industry and has developed extensive expertise in moving to, from, and within Guam. Today, he serves as the Chairman of the International Association of Movers, the world’s largest organization for movers, advocating for moving businesses of all sizes and locations. Through his blogs, John shares his unique experience, knowledge, and perspective, providing valuable insights to readers worldwide.

Guam Mover Dewitt Moving and Storage Guam Volunteers during Bell Ringing Campaign

Guam moving company Dewitt Moving and Storage Guam started a new tradition this year in Guam.  Veterans of the annual holiday toy drive on the island, Guam mover Dewitt expanded their charitable efforts this year, graciously volunteering to take part in the Salvation Army’s annual Bell Ringing Campaign.  Dewitt volunteers, dressed in red aprons and ringing holiday bells, managed to raise over $100 during their 2 hour shift! DeWitt Helps to Spread the Holiday Cheer in Guam

'Tis the season to donate in Guam!  The Salvation Army’s annual “Toys for Tots” Drive is under way in Guam.  This program, sponsored by the U.S. Marine Corps, is already in its second year of running in Guam.  With last year’s toy collection reaching over 1,300 toys, the expectation this year is to double this amount. Guam Movers Support Neighboring Community Involvement Efforts

Tumon, GUAM Professional Guam mover Dewitt Moving and Storage Guam joined efforts to expand the John F. Kennedy High School Library and other libraries in the neighboring islands of Manila and Pohnpei.  With the help of the Rotary Club of Northern Guam and the Honolulu Sunset Rotary Club of Honolulu, HI, about 6,000 books were donated, transported, and then presented to these communities abroad.
